New York City Taxi Cab Jumps Curb and Injures Three

On March 10, 2016 a New York City taxi cab jumped a curb and slammed into a building after driving at a high rate of speed. According to CBS New York, the taxi cab ran a red light at the intersection of First Avenue and 33rd Street at about 8:45 a.m. The taxi driver hit and injured two pedestrians, as well as suffering injuries himself. Witnesses say that there were many more people in the area that narrowly escaped being hit, especially since the incident occurred during rush hour.
