Children are a Common Distraction When Driving


According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), distracted driving claims the lives of more than 3,500 people each year. Distracted driving is defined as anything that takes a person’s attention away from the road, which includes talking on the phone or in person, changing the radio station, or using the navigation system. According to a recent article by ABC News, driving with children in the backseat of a car is also one of the most common and potential distractions.
